In 2014, HCF was selected to be the Charity Partner for Leadership Henderson’s 5th Annual Biddin’ for Bottles. Over nine months, the HCF Board worked with Leadership Henderson’s Director, Rebecca Fay, and her amazing alumni volunteers on a wine event that raised over $50,000 in May 2015 with 25% of the proceeds going to HCF. During this time, we got to know Rebecca’s remarkable commitment to Henderson. She works tirelessly, constantly focusing on ways to make positive changes for the lives she touches. Because of her gracious personality, she is able to mobilize hundreds of volunteers to make what seems like impossible projects reach their goals. And, she is more determined than the “Little Engine that Could” when it comes to anything she’s working on. For those reasons, Rebecca Fay was named HCF’s 2015 Community Leader of the Year.
