Henderson Community Foundation meets the changing needs of Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley through our discretionary and donor fund grantmaking. Some donors have created funds to support designated charitable agencies, to provide scholarships to students, or to support their ongoing, evolving charitable interests.

Other donors have established funds with a broader purpose or have entrusted the Foundation with unrestricted dollars to respond to the community’s current and evolving needs. Through both types of grantmaking, HCF is able to change lives and transform communities.

Our Grant Distribution Committee, which includes board members and knowledgeable community representatives, makes annual competitive grants targeted to critical community needs. Since our grantmaking inception, HCF has awarded more than $30,000 to deserving charities that help our community. Past recipients have included:
