RockStar Guitar

Taylor Barnett is a Sin City native, born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada; he discovered his first passion at the age of 12 when he picked up the guitar for the first time. Ever since he’s had love for music. He enjoys playing and performing in bands, writing music, and volunteering for his church worship band. It is this love for music that led him to start his own guitar instruction company, RockStar Guitar. Specializing in private one-on-one guitar lessons as well as online lessons, RockStar Guitar was able to expand to 8 different cities in just a few years and has assembled a team of veteran instructors who love to share their knowledge with the students they teach every day.

However, music is not Taylor’s only endeavor, his love of entrepreneurship and his belief in giving back to the community led him develop a start-up called Unite Me. Unite Me is a cause marketing platform that allows people to easily raise money for local non-profits by letting them donate a portion of what they spend at local restaurants and stores back to the charity of their choice. Unite Me was the first place winner of Startup Weekend in May 2013 and continues to operate here in the greater Las Vegas area serving business, customers, and non-profits alike. Taylor’s vision for the company is that it will help bridge the gap between the for-profit and non-profit sectors and help change the way people think about giving back.

Taylor attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas and obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Marketing as well as a Minor Degree in Audio Engineering and Multimedia. In early 2016, Taylor was fortunate enough to be voted onto the Board of Trustees for the Henderson Community Foundation and is excited about the new possibilities and opportunities he’ll have to help the Foundation grow and expand on the important work it does to touch so many lives.
