At the early age of 17, John J Harvey entered the U.S. Army. He spent his three year commitment as part of the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington D.C. After receiving an Honorable Discharge John began working for his family’s vending business. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, John set out to follow his dream of one day working for himself.

With multiple opportunities in operating a variety of businesses, John joined the financial field services industry in 1995. Growing with the industry in 2007, John had the opportunity to join a task force which rolled out a nationwide change in the industry. With the industries expected changes, John started and currently owns A & B Field Services, LLC, a Las Vegas-based financial field services company. A & B Field Services oversees daily operations and the management of over 75 field agents within four states.

In 2010, John and his wife, Gwen, started Harvey Innovations, LLC, a business development and management company. They along with a great team of employees use their skills to help businesses succeed through Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Giving.

After graduating from Leadership Henderson (class of 2009), John has been active in the Leadership Henderson Steering Committee using his ideas to help raise money to insure their continued success.

John is active in his church, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. Previously serving as the Education Chairman, Stewardship Chairman for the planning of the church’s building project, and the Financial Officer who managed the build out of the Church and the Parsonage.

Married for 22 years, John and his wife, Gwen, moving the family from California over 12 years ago, have settled nicely in Las Vegas. With their children now adults, Anthony attending the International Academy of Film & Television-Las Vegas and Breann studying to be a teacher in San Francisco, John enjoys going to Lake Mead with a friend or two and soaks up the quiet and any fish that wish to be caught. John and Gwen enjoy their nights out together and every so often you can find them in a friendly neighborhood poker game.
