Amber Stidham

The Smith Center for the Performing arts

Specializing in creative planning and marketing development, Amber Stidham has combined her love of communication and her community to establish a vibrant career that is both exciting and diverse.

As a respected thought leader in the community and in her profession, Amber has spent the last decade developing and executing impactful and award-winning marketing and public relations programs for countless small businesses, nonprofits, government agencies to public policy and legislative communication work at the state level. Now, this Southern Nevada native was brought onboard earlier in 2011 to head-up public relations programs for The Smith Center for the Performing Arts – a $470 million project that has been heralded as ‘the greatest project since Hoover Dam.’

Amber dedicates much of her free time to actively serve the community she loves. She serves as a mentor to others and is regularly approached by media as a resource in her profession due to her forward-thinking abilities and exceptional level of credibility. Amber currently serves as a Henderson Community Foundation board trustee. She’s also the longest standing member of Leadership Henderson’s steering committee, where she currently serves as co-chairperson and is a past program graduate in 2006. Her guidance throughout the years of this program, during its most difficult days, has had a paramount impact on this chamber-based program. She is an advisor to the Henderson Business Resource Center, where she helped develop and implement its successful workshop series, and serves as an advisor to a collegiate group at UNLV, where she also earned her bachelor’s degree from years ago.

In previous years, Stidham served as a board member for the Southern Nevada Medical Industry
Coalition, the Las Vegas Chapter of the American Marketing Association and served as the marketing chairperson for Henderson Chamber of Commerce. She has devotes time and energy to countless organizations throughout the years and has done so behind the scenes.
